Like No Other

You hurt me like no other
I thought you my brother

But greed has replaced your spirit
When you talk I can hear it

Of this world you worship
And that is a sinking ship

Of the Heavens you should seek
For it is reserved for the meek

Do not let your love of this world
Cloud your mind, your stomach will hurl

This world is the devils domain
Temptation, your soul he hopes to gain

Do not be fooled, do not be dumb
For one day He will surely come

And replace all this selfish greed
With a Blessing of Loves Humble Seed.

It must come to me in dreams
For in the morning it seems

That from my hand it flows
Not thinking about what I know

For mine is nothing
I know not what is coming

It just happens and then it leaves
Leaving me to wonder if it really is me

Or some one else in dreams I see
These thoughts come and go

The special ones I hold dear
Sometimes thou I tremble in fear

As if in some kind of zone
It cuts to your very bone

And as your blood spills crimson
Pray peacefully for the Glory of the Son.
