A Message on Peace & Love

I had a friend surprise me yesterday.  It was not a pleasant surprise.  Sometimes you think you know somebody and they say or do something that leaves you wondering.  Our words and actions are an extension of our true heart, and many hold their feelings inside.  This is not good for your heart, as it suppresses your spirit and leaves you to anger, worry, and complain about things that you have shielded yourself from and have no real control over.
Throughout my life I have left my mind and heart open to the views of my friends, family and the world around me.  Often these views have confused me as they grind against my inner soul and leave me with more questions than answers.  For in my inner being I know I can seek out answers that few have ever questioned.  Why, because their inner being has been clouded with the distractions of a noisy world.

Take a step back and ask yourself these two questions.  1) If I were satan what would I do to turn innocent souls from God, and destroy what He has created?  2) If I were God what would I do to protect the innocent and preserve My creation?  To answer question one just look around and you’ll see the results of his mission.  To answer question two is not so easy since God gives us free will and choice.  Unfortunately, this choice is often made as a result of the efforts satan puts forth in our daily lives instead of looking at the big picture God lays out before us.

My friend surprised me with a comment about how worthless God is in our society.  He asked such questions as how could there be a God when there is so much hate in the world and how a god could allow starvation and poverty to thrive in a world of abundance.  These are the very doubts that satan puts before us to question the existence of a living God.

The decay of our society, the pain of hunger and poverty, the rise of hate towards our fellow man and the divisiveness we see in our society and around the world is the result of choice.  As more and more question the existence of God, the door is left open for confusion and mistrust.  God gives us choice and throughout history the choices some people make effect generations after they are long gone.  Much of the hunger and poverty in our world today is the result of greed and power lust that their leaders coveted.  Some people sell their souls for fame and riches at the expense of those around them and the damage done can last for years.  One more way satan blinds us from the light of God.
People need to realize that although this world was established by God, it is the devil’s domain.  Cast down from heaven for the very jealousy, vanity, hate and divisiveness we see in our world today.  Do not blame God or let worldly matters cloud your thinking on His existence, for that is the very mission of satan.  To deceive you into thinking like the lying, jealous, vain, greedy and power hungry person that satan himself is.  What better way to fight the power of love than with an arrow of hate.

Let’s not deceive ourselves though.  There will always be a measure of hate in this world.  Until such time that it is exposed for us to conquer, there is little we can do but be vigilant and steadfast in our own beliefs.  To surround ourselves with those that seek wisdom instead of riches.  For the wise man knows happiness is where his riches abound and the greedy never find that happiness. The life of a hater never rests, but if you surround yourself with love you will sleep soundly.  Seek peace and love will follow and through this wisdom the meager forces of satan have no choice, as they fight a losing battle.

My friend surprised me today.  But I know his words of divisiveness and confusion were a vailed expression of his true feelings.  Our mouths are not always the best indicator of our true character.  Just as someone can stand in front of you and say one thing and do the next, so can our outward expressions be influenced by but a small part of the divisiveness and confusion inside of all of us.  The secret is to identify it, localize it, and eliminate it from your inner being before it consumes you entirely.

Hate, confusion, divisiveness, greed and power lust are cancers to any society and just like any cancer it must be contained and eliminated.  Love does not conquer through death, that is hates mission.  Love conquers by understanding and salvation.  Our world will have an element of hate until we minimize it and our Lord and His angels cast the final blows that seal hate, satan, in its place forever.
Life is confusing enough; don’t let satan make it harder on you.  Trust in God and believe me anything you’ve ever questioned will be answered.  And when those questions are answered you will see how satan and the forces of hate where there all along because we share this world with them, but they have no power over us, unless we allow it.  Be a beacon of light in a world of darkness, for in the darkness we find our true selves and pray we still have some flint and fuel to spark the warmth of a loving light.

Do not blame God for the misery in and around your life my friend.  Rather be angry at the forces of satan that have led you to this pain.  We are created in His image with a mission to be as His likeness, our enemies have the exact opposite mission to destroy that image through words and actions that separate us from achieving that likeness.

We fight battles everyday within and around us.  Make the sound and loving decisions in your life and do not be misguided by the distractions of hate and pain around you.  We cannot ignore our fellow man’s suffering and suppression, but inciting hate will get us nowhere.  Approach these challenges with an open mind and a caring heart and watch as hate and divisiveness melt away and flow downstream over the water fall of life into the depths of hell.

Realize that none of us are perfect and because of that we live in an imperfect world.  When we break down what troubles us most, we have to realize that not everyone will agree on the priorities and actions put in place to make our world a better place.  That is where democracy, free-will, and choice will come into play.  As a society we must take a step back, consider the facts, look at our history, weigh the consequences and set out on a mission of understanding and togetherness.  Wisdom will guide us in our life venture if we only let it.

Open your heart and mind and it will enrich your soul and spirit.  Together these four elements make up who and what you are.  And when we strip ourselves of all our pride and envy we’ll find ourselves standing in a beautiful garden with the love of our life and the gifts of God and all that has been created and established surrounding us.

How does God protect the innocent & faithful?  He has given us His Word to guide us, His Spirit to help us, His Son to be our Lord & Savior & His angels to be our protectors.  Armed in the Glory of God & the forces of Mother Nature… you, us, we the faithful,  never lose.

We were created in His image to seek His likeness.  That image and likeness is one of love and wisdom, not hate and confusion.  Remember that when you consider your words and actions today.

Peace & Love my friend, may the image of His Grace lead you as you follow His likeness.
