A good friend who has known me for close to 10 years asked me a question the other day over the phone. He asked me why thoughts of a woman who basically did him wrong for years, at one time they were engaged, keep haunting him, at times distracting him by putting ideas in his head that are contrary to what his real life’s goals & ambitions are. I gave him several thoughts, mainly how if you’re with someone that long they become a part of you & memories may fade but they’re always there. But, this is what I should’ve said….
Yesterday I reposted The Root of Evil where I made the case that it is not money or sex….but satan & his misguided minions. They are pure & uncensored evil which can influence our decisions. This repost also included the writing My Enemy is in a Me…where I use symbolism & story telling to shed light on how we are our own worst enemy. Here’s how evil works…
As you know we are born into a physical life that God has granted us our own free will. We have choices we make every minute of every day. These choices originate from where??? Our minds. Nothing is decided or done without thought first, even subconscious thought. It only takes a flash of a milli-second for our minds to react & cause the rest of our body to be put into action. Even a simple task of walking requires thought, then action. Many of our daily actions are second nature or simple muscle movement….then there’s the others that involve deeper thought, planning, action & reaction.
These are the more complex thoughts that often enter our thought patterns by outside forces & worldly influences. Here’s an example: You are driving to a friends house who expects you there at 8 PM… on the way you see a sign for a 2 for 1 drink special at a bar…you gotta little time so even though it’s not in your plan you stop in for the 2fer, next thing you know 2 turns to 4 then 6 drinks & you miss your 8 PM deadline & your friend leaves without you, an opportunity lost forever because of worldly distractions & planted seeds.
Where do these thought seeds come from? Well, the devil uses them to deceive you…God uses them to show you the truth. We have free will, neither God or the devil can make you do anything…but they can bombard you with thought seeds to either help or hinder you in your life’s journey. Those that are successful in their journey separate the truth from the lies, make sound decisions and are often rewarded with blessings beyond belief. Those that are deceived by the thoughts of evil, hate & harm suffer consequences in both this physical world as well as the spiritual realm.
So, I hope & pray that if you look back on your own life you can pick out those instances that you made decisions that were life changing, hopefully the majority were good, but none of us are perfect and it can be very easy to succumb to deceptive thoughts.
Thoughts planted in our woke hours or in our dreams. We have free will…free to choose…free to cast out unwanted & deceptive thoughts….free to capture, cherish & capitalize on pure & loving thoughts.
It is often difficult to separate & determine the two, but as you cast out demon thoughts & embellish Godly thoughts…you’ll find the demon seeds will be less frequent as they search for weaker & younger souls.
No one knows the thoughts of a killer, but be assured the result was first planted by demon seeds in their head. We see mass shootings & crimes against children & other awful things in our society today. They are all the works of demon seeds.
We see miracles & wonders every day, these are the results of Godly seeds. These are the thoughts & actions that as you grow in Faith you will learn to trust & better understand.
So my dear friend to further answer your question…ignore & cast out those unwanted thoughts, they are just trying to distract you. Look around & replace them with thoughts of nature & good will, which I know you are trying to do. Stay true to those Heavenly sent seeds and your spirit will shine & grow in Faith.
We all have choices….to grow a beautiful garden with Godly seeds, flowers, trees & Heavenly scents…or demon seeds resulting in thorns, weeds & death.
The choice is easy for most, but not all on this planet have the true Faith in God…but someday soon, we won’t need to worry bout demon seeds no more, cuz they’ll all be burning & rotting in hell for eternity.
Have a great day & remember you can plant seeds in the lives of those around you too…just make sure they’re good ones.
