The divide in our country must be filled with some sense of common ground or we will continue to decline into a hollowed out shell of a once great nation.
But where does this common ground start? It can not be political, that’s one of the biggest reasons for the divide. It can not be religious, that is another controversial subject that divides us. No, this common ground has to come from a neutral perspective.
So, to establish a common ground we have to start from a common place. Our past history is another subject of debate & the reasons for our current decline have already been set in motion. So where to start?
How bout we start fresh….from right this second in time. If we did that, what would you do differently? Many of the decisions made in the past control our lives. Laws established for the common good & protection of society control how we act. Taken a step further our Constitution establishes how we are governed.
But a problem exists in that our laws assume innocent until proven guilty, yet many are convicted by a media driven society & many more languish to prove their innocence. We can not start from the premise that we are all equal….because we’re not. We may be equal in the eyes of the law, as the scales are held by blind justice….but if you put enough cash on one side of the scales they’ll tip in your favor. Hardly equitable to someone who can’t bail out & can’t afford proper legal representation. In six months their life is a shambles & many never recover. So we are not equal, if you have money & resources you’ll fare much better than the majority of us living paycheck to paycheck. But we can not fault the man who has worked hard & built his wealth….the fault lies in the judicial system.
We may all have the same inalienable rights to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness….but we have to agree we are not equal, no 2 people are, not even twins….so let’s make that the starting point. We’re all different, we all have unique qualities, we all have our inherent weaknesses & strengths, but even with all our differences we can still consider those differences & work together to make a fair & moral society.
So, if we agree we are all different & respect those differences, that’s a start. But there is a problem. Seems as though some of those differences are contrary to a God fearing existence. There are those in our society today that feel their views, their agendas are the only correct ones & all others are somehow less important to consider to a point of censorship & exclusion. But there is something they don’t realize.
This country was founded by white Christian men. The Caucasian race, the majority of which are Christian today are the majority in this country. As is the case in all societies, the majority is often considered oppressive and any & all of the minorities feel oppressed. However, lately small segments of minorities…in race, ideals & morality…have very loud & angry voices & violent actions. I guess they feel if they scream, pout, destroy & disrupt enough of our daily lives we’ll succumb to their demented desires…WRONG!!!
As a starting point we must realize that any diverse society will have majority / minority clashes…it’s how we handle these issues that determine the strength of our country moving forward. If you feel you have to yell at me to get your point across…sorry, you’ve already lost. If you feel you have to destroy our national monuments, you’ve already lost. If you feel you have to rewrite history, you will fail, for truth always prevails. If you feel you must disrupt society to establish your ideals, your distractions are known & useless against a faithful majority.
You see what these demon seeded despots fail to realize is that a growing number of the various minorities have grown tired of the godless ideals, hypocrisy, violence & deceitful rhetoric their various groups portray. So, they eventually side with the majority. You see it playing out in our elections, ones that are not manipulated anyway, with increased percentages of minorities joining the ranks of family & country first ideals; voting with the realities they see, rather than the false promises, lies & failure riddled policies of their proposed leaders who have taken granted of their votes for far, far too long. Change is good, change is coming.
It has to… we can not continue down this slippery slope of decreased moralities at the whim of a few. Given their way this country is doomed to fail….but their way has already lost, it dies a destiny of death.
Whereas the Faithful, will live a destiny of Love.
Let’s start fresh, the faithful are many & the lost can be found, but only by their will & choice. Continue in your faith or begin a new, make the right choice & feel what the Spirit can show & do for you. Hopefully, it will close a gaping divide that if left to grow, could swallow a country whole. 🌻🐝🦉🇺🇸🦅⚖️✨
