Clear Paths

My spirit seeks guidance… my soul yearns to do what’s right
My body is sore from the travels… my mind is awake and alert
My heart cries for the lost and yet it seems at times it is me that is lost
Down this road I have been before but every time the players are different
So I ask my God…what is it You want me to do?
And the answer always seems to be
"What do you want to do?”  “What is it you want to be?”
What a wonderful God we have, to ask and you shall receive
The Words ring true with me, you just have to believe
The path before you may not be clear and the whispers you may not hear
But trust in Him to clear the thorns to wipe clean the thatch
I seek not for myself, but for all of us that search
Lord show us the way to Your Mercy help us to overcome all this adversity
For we know with You in the lead…nothing is an impossibility.
We find Your Words to us today and they say
“Salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious”
And the faithless that reside in the temples, have been cut off
So the faithful can prosper in the glory of the natural root and branch
Do not feel one branch is better than the other
For each is connected to the root, life giving water is given to both
Faith is the foundation you must have its roots are the deepest
All else in your world should revolve around your faith
As Gentiles we can make a legitimate claim as a branch
Of the Root of David, by the Grace of His choosing
Whether from the start, or later in procession, doesn’t matter
Despite what those confused with the past may say
The covenant was made to all men… Jew & Gentile alike
Find your place in this Grace and your faith will sing His praises.
Praying for clear paths in the New Year.
