As I write this Pink Floyd’s song “Hey You” from
their “Wall” album is on 99.7 FM, Charlotte. I
listen to them late night sometimes because they have live DJ’s on. A little talk with the tunes is always nice.
That song “Hey You” has a special meaning to me…I
get emotional when I hear it sometimes….but it is short lived and I enjoy the
rest of the song. There is a story
associated with it from my early 20’s when I was on one of my “turns”. I like to think of those times in my life…6
or 7 of them…as training exercises.
Training for the day when my spirit would be free…and
my mind could control its emotions. When
my soul was refreshed…even in an old body.
When my heart was damaged…but my faith endures to carry on. Training for
a day in my life…like today.
So an old post I was trying to find for my friend
has eluded me; can’t seem to find it in the posts from 10 years ago…so I’ll try
to recreate the main topic and points.
The main topic was the definition, in simple terms,
of the four main forces in our world.
Here they are and you might be surprised what’s not on the list.
God = Father Time
Jesus = Love
Mary = Mother Nature
Man = Truth
These are the four main entities, concepts,
realities, forces, or whatever you want to call them that reside in our lives
and the world around us. To expand on it
here’s a little explanation:
When I think of God I think of the Creator, the ultimate force that drives our world and the heavens above us. Our lives revolve around time…much of our reality would not exist without the concepts and realities of time. So what entity best to control it, then the one that holds the water’s tide from the sands of time, then the one that is the hands of time, then the one that can stop or start the stopwatch whenever He chooses. The force that can create or destroy at will. When I think of God in simple terms…I think of Father Time.
When I think of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I
think of many things, of many memories, of stories of compassion, healing, deliverance
and sacrifice. Words can not fully
explain what I think of when I think of my Lord. His message was simple only made difficult to
understand due to the complexities we pile on His shoulders. When I think of Jesus and only have one word
or term to describe His magnificent force…in terms we all understand, I think
of the stories of compassion in the Bible contained and detailed in Mathew,
Mark, Luke & John and we have a gap in His life’s history. We can only imagine where and what He was
doing, but if it was anything like the history we have in the Bible, He
impacted more than just the Holy Lands. Love drives our world like no other
emotion. When I think of Jesus in simple
terms…I think of Love.
When I think of Mary, the mother of the Son of God,
the mother of Jesus Christ my savior and yours, I think of Mother Nature. She is a powerful force that contains both
beauty and pain. That gives birth and
suffers in the process, which takes what Father Time gives Her and assembles
the pieces in such a way as to best glorify Her Son. It is hard to separate these terms as
certainly many think of Mary when they think of love and compassion. But no one showed more of that then Her Son
when He walked this Earth. And nature is
such a magnificent and powerful force in both creation and destruction, the
closest thing we have to heaven here in this life on this planet. So Nature is due Her justice…and that justice
is in Mother Mary. When I think of Mary
in simple terms…I think of Mother Nature.
When I think of man, you know you and me, I have a
hard time describing human-kind as a force that drives our world, but it is a
strong force that manipulates our world.
If you were the only one on this planet then certainly there might be
other things that would influence this world.
But with over 7 billion people roaming around out there watching their
clocks, dreaming of love, enjoying nature, man is certainly a force to be considered. We were created in God’s image, to love Him
and each other and to keep His Words, Ways and Wisdom close to our hearts so we can
testify to the truth when we have too.
The truth, which is what human-kind carries whether he realizes it or
not. The memories and lessons of the
past can only be told by one man to one man and therein lies the truth of our
creation, laws, lineage, legacies and ultimately the promised destiny that
awaits us all. We are born with the
truth residing in all of us, but for some it fades into darkness never to be
seen again. But for the majority (thank
God) of us the truth is what drives our spirit and makes us who we are. You can measure the strength of the Lord by
the truth that resides in a planets people.
We are fortunate to be strong in this country and around the world; it
is not always the case when truth battles evil. When I think of Man in simple terms…I think of Truth.
So that is my top four forces that drive and
formulize our planet defined in simple terms.
Many of you may disagree with mankind (which includes all men, women and
children) as being in the top four. Many
think there is another force ahead of and more powerful than mankind. There are many that think satan with his hate
and divisiveness should be in the top four.
All I have to say to that is…if this list was called Five Forces, than
yeah he’d probably check in at #5 and his simple term would be hate. With that being said all you have to do is
weigh the hearts of mankind to know where satan and his demon legions are in
relation to how big of a force they really are.
Man is created in God’s image, to do and say things as our Lord would,
to see and do the wonders God, Jesus and Mother Mary in this life and to know
it is good. Do you really think God would put something that hates Him ahead of something that loves Him. No sir....satan's fate is sealed as a divisive force of hate.
The trust that God has put in our hearts to carry His
truth, cherish His words and become strong in faith and wisdom far outweighs
the forces of satan; the day that the tables are turned and satan is more of a
force than God fearing man-kind…well sir, Father Time, Love and Mother Nature
will join forces and right the ship, for the waters are angry with hate and can
only be calmed by He who walks them. Our
ship is righted and on course, we just need to stay strong in the faith that Father
Time, Love and Mother Nature will help keep us as a simple force of Truth, to
seek wisdom, love and respect nature; as we carry the trust & oath of a
promised destiny & salvation.
Proverbs 31, John 17:17, Ephesians 2:10
One final recent thought…Since human-kind holds the truth and truth is in a battle with evil…Isn’t it comforting to know that while satan has evil, hate & vanity as his weapons…we have the forces of God in Time, Jesus as Love & Mary as Nature as ours. Proverbs 31, John 17:17, Ephesians 2:10
