I Walk Alone Lost

I walk alone lost, not knowing where I’m going, nor how far.
I walk alone lost, not knowing where I’ve been, nor how close.
I walk alone lost, through the mist of ages, past the depths of time.
I walk alone lost, in valleys of shadows, along sorrows of death.
I walk alone lost, above mountains of sunshine, with kingdoms of joy.

I walk alone lost, choosing to do so by the grace of God.
I walk alone lost, yearning to be found, grateful to be chosen.
I walk alone lost, until the day I find salvation in the hands of an angel.
I walk alone lost, with thousands of others, all who have been.
I walk alone lost, because we are the future.
I walk alone lost, no more the empty search.

We walk together found, knowing where we’re going, and how far to travel.
We walk together found, knowing where we’ve been, knowing we were close.
We walk together found, forever through the midst of ages, the depths of time.
We walk together found, through the valley of death, over the mountains of kingdoms.
We walk together found, knowing all the while the search had meaning, learned only over time....

I walk alone lost, so one day...
We can all walk together…found.
