Sweet Music

Did I tell you I love you?
I listen but can not see you.

I had a choice to make the other night
Hasten to the physical or do a little left, right.

My true physical love being gone
I went to where there was a song.

Did I tell you I love you?
Make me feel better, even if it’s blue.

Most men would have been with Ms. Lynn
I chose instead to go where I could listen.

A shock I’m sure to those around
No surprise to others who have found.

Sweet Music, sweet wonderful music carry my soul
As only you can, in your arms to have and hold.

Take me to that special place far away
In that rhythm I’ll choose to stay.

Have I told you I love you sweet melody?
I hope you can hear a lonely rhapsody.

You will always be there, sweet music to me
And all your notes create the Worlds’ symphony.

Did I tell you I love you lately?
Well I love you oh so greatly.

Sweet Music, Sweet Music, don’t ever leave
For with out you my soul would heave.

Of course I know this will never be
Because even when all alone, I hear the sea.

The wind has your mystical harmony
The trees speak to me blissfully.

Even in your darkest angriest time
Your battle cry has a rhyme.

Sweet music, sweet music I love you so
It is for you and with you….an eternal glow.
