Never before has one touched me like you do
Your smell, your smile, sweet memories I have of you
I’ve been around, and had many a favor
But your sweet voice added to the flavor
No cares in the World it would seem
Your face in the distance, even a gleam
Seeing you on stage, that arch in your back
That cat like sense, wanting to attack
You said you were leaving soon for good
All the better in trouble with you I could
My fantasies about you will have to be
For my heart belongs to another, unfortunately
Believe me when I say you’re one of a kind
Hold onto your dreams, don’t look behind
Remember your family and friends will always be there
Even when others leave you, they will always care.
I love you in spirit, every once in awhile, be a free spirit
Listen to the wind and maybe a voice you will hear in it.
That little voice will always be there
It is the voice of the one you should most care.
Take a walk on the beach
Kneel down and for your soul reach
And in that special time of spiritual glory
Grab and hold that inner self, that outer harmony
Reach out and try and touch the stars
All will be forgotten, those old battle scars
Maybe in another life, another time
Our bodies could dance and rhyme
But for now I’ll have to settle for one more dance
Touch me as if you care, for that I will chance
Don’t let the darkness blur your sight
Be safe, and always search for the light.
My memories of you are special and sweet
Maybe once in a awhile, your heart will beat
And you’ll remember the crazy guy
Who had such a hard time saying good-bye
